While you wait for The Super Dot Game, here is a blast from the past: The Original The DOT Game from 1994 for DOS as freeware. Version 1.00 was created in late 1993. Version 1.02 was released soon after in early 1994 with added SoundBlaster support for digital audio sound effects. The oldest prebuilt executable I could find was from 1997 (not sure why). But, it comes from the same source code. Also, it’s not in the original installer files. Instead, all of the game files are in a simple zip file. The game will require an emulator such as DOSBox to play on modern hardware. You can play by keyboard or mouse. Unfortunately it requires two human players to play. There is no AI. Enjoy!

The first game to be released by Quagga Games will be The Super Dot Game for iOS. It’s on its way. More information to follow.
